TOP COMMENT : CJ,

“I do have overdue books and this site is the only way I was able to remember. I checked out books a couple of days before my Dad's funeral & that evening after the funeral my daughter died. I never received any phones calls or anything in the mail from my library and so this is upsetting because I surely would have returned everything had I received a courtesy reminder. Family & friends came over to help me prepare a room for my Grandson that is now living with me & the books were packed by accident. I have gotten calls from this number as early as 5am & late as midnight. I do not answer my phone after or before normal business hours and this number has never called me during any 9am - 5pm hours. Late night calls are very disturbing when a person received such a call from an "unknown" number and it was about my Daughter's death, I just did not want to answer it. I will pay my fine along with a letter explaining my disappoint with the library for not making any effort to notify me of these overdue items. Thank you for your site Why call me...Sincerely ”

this is a collection agency for library fees- they should not be calling past 5pm in CA or at your work.

i got miscall from this number when i called them back i found auto machine answer said unique management services…

I got a missed call around 5:30pm today. I have not used a library in years. And last time I had I didn’t have any late fees. So hope they stop calling,

I received a call from them this morning, they said my grandsons guardian or parent needed to call or visit the library that the call was about his library card. I asked what the problem was and if he owed overdue book fines, the man I was speaking to said the library gave him no information and to just have his parents contact the library. I plan on going today and will update this post.

This number is definitely legitimate. I work for the library (believe it or not, I have library fines, too)… and this is the company that is outsourced to collect library fines for missing and overdue library books. There are a couple things you can do before talking to them or outright paying your bill… 1. Return your books/overdue materials. Most of the collections total is the replacement cost of the materials that are overdue. Return them and all you have to pay is a $20 collection fee.2. Pay directly at the library. If you’re afraid of giving any information to the collection agency – the safest and most reasonable thing to do would be to go directly to the library and inquire about the status of your account, then go from there. If you are convinced these collections are in error or belong to someone else, you will need to go to the library and see why someone else is using your information. It is also possible someone has stolen or found and used your library card. Bring your picture ID.

I recognize this number..they are trying to get me for some library materials which I returned over the weekend when my local library had a “amnesty” weekend. But no worries here as I plan on blocking these a-holes from calling my cellphone tomorrow….

I just got a call today from them at 9 pm, yes it’s a collection agency collecting for unpaid library debt.

Same as last recent posts. I received a call from this number at about 7:15 pm MST here in Utah. It only took me 10 mins to use this site to look up the number and call back. No answer. Just the same message. I don’t owe a collections agency, especially not for library fines! Idk who this is but they are most likely just that, a collections office. Ignore it. Nice website by the way. 🙂

This is a collection agency, Unique something or other. My connection with them is overdue library fines, not sure who else they collect for.
