Phone number is an absolute SCAM!!! Always the exact same thing - some Indian guy with a barely intelligible accent trying to push "education services". Rude as hell as well! There's a slew of these scamming numbers. In the past few days alone, received more than 50 such calls from the following numbers: 954-228-5690 (Pompano Beach, Fla) 404-218-5892 (International T) 317-151-10997 (Unlisted - what's with the extra number?) 315-551-55771 (Unlisted - what's with the extra number?) 817-293-0000 (Chatman C) 317-674-43726 (Unlisted - what's with the extra number?) 313-654-15684 (Unlisted - what's with the extra number?) This scammer MUST be stopped!

I noticed some of the adds on the site dice.com has education banners. It seems they have hooks into the database and when I log in it enters in a request to cold call for educational services. I told them to take me off the list but it will renew itself if the log in happens again and again. It doesn't stop!

DO NOT ANSWER ANYMORE. Part of a large international phone scam ring. They make their money when you answer. Thanks 'annonymous'. Seems this is another way to get information. I was wondering how it could be profitable to call someone, leave dead air when they answer, and not lvm. I made a mistake of answering one of these calls recently and now I get several a day!

Here's a secret ..... These people want to sell you something. You personally, not a company. They don't make money wasting time talking to people they can't sell to. Your job is to convince them that they're wasting their time and to remove your number from their auto calling list. The next time they call, and you recognize their phone number, answer in a pleasant voice and say "Good Morning .... Pizza Hut.... would you like to place an order" or "Good Afternoon .... Ford Motor Company .... how may I direct your call ?" They'll immediately hang up and delete your number from their database.

Apparently the National DO NOT CALL listing service does not block these. I have had a few made from VOIP and even 3 from overseas somewhere. Most are Indian accented, and refuse to say where they got my number from, or blatantly lie "Your USA government gives us your number..." Gotten to the point where I just answer "FBI Cyber Crimes, how may I direct your call?" "click"
