Received a recorded voicemail (phone did not ring) from "Sarah Reed' asking me to call (866) 801-5558 about my student loan, Ref# 30307.. A few minutes later I received another recorded voicemail from the same woman's voice, claiming to be "Diana Hughes" and asking me to call (866) 317.1811, Ref# 01017. OBVIOUSLY A FRAUD!!! I reported both calls to the FTC for whatever good it may do.

I have received several voice mails over the last couple weeks from the same number and person. It goes direct to my voice mail (I'm sure because I've previously blocked their numbers). However, I was given the same reference number of 01017. So, clearly obvious that if we all have the same reference number, it's a scam.

I was left a voicemail by "Diana Hughes" and given the 866-317-1811 number, mentioned by other people. Interestingly, my reference number is also 01017- what are the odds? This is a scam; I don't even have student loans. Do not call these people back, they are phishing for your info.

Same message from Diane Hughes as everyone else. Most student loan servicers would never call in this manner (any changes to your terms, etc. would be communicated to you via written correspondence), and they would definitely state what company they work for if they did call. 100% a scam. Diane/Sarah/whoever you are, I don't know you can sleep at night with all that shame.

Received a voicemail without phone ringing. Claims to be Diana Hughes (does not state what company she is from) needing to speak about my federal student loans and repayment options due to some new changes. Requests call back to 866.317.1811 and to use reference number 0101017. Sounds like it may possibly be prerecorded.

Same as everyone else. I just sent in paperwork to government about my student loan so I thought it legit until they started asking questions I am sure the US government should already know about me. How do they get our contact information? Is someone selling our information?
