Connie McGee Christenson I am a breast cancer survivor stage two and invasive. I was surprised to find out during my mastectomy and treatments that cancer victims do not qualify for any disability unless stage 4 basically terminal. Thankfully for me I had a job that has paid sick leave and I had short and long term disability, but what if I had worked at McDonald's? There should be short term disability for cancer victims within SS.

The people at this office are generally on the "nice people" side of average, with some variety. That's why this office rates a four. I especially want to commend Ms. Bruckner. She's worked with me for a few months on a troublesome issue, and has always been nice, sympathetic - it doesn't feel like a bureaucratic transaction with her. And she's made sure I stay in the loop re the progress of my issue. 5 stars! I had a strange experience with the person at kiosk 5. The first time I was with her, she was angry, vicious, yelling: "Do you hear what [a crazy thing] you're saying?". Well, that crazy thing turned out to be true - it was the issue that I've referred to before. So about 4 months later, I happened to be called to kiosk 5 again. This time, the very same person was cheerful, funny, sympathetic. Couldn't ask for nicer (she recognized me BTW). Whatever happened in the interim I don't know, but I hope that the kiosk 5 person continues to present that wonderful new persona to all her subsequent clients. Love [the new] you, kiosk 5 person! Keep up the good work!

I was impressed with how well the staff here manages such a large diverse group of people. I arrived shortly after 9am on Thursday Jun 14 and was out by 9:45. The parking lot looked full so I parked on the street. My task of signing up for Medicare Part B may have been one of the quicker ones. I started out in large seating area for 10 minutes, was ushered up and sent to a window/person for brief document check and back to seating area for about 30 minutes. Final visit with another person at another window took about 5 minutes. All the staff that I encountered were very cordial and upbeat. And for this I give them credit: as I was leaving I witnessed one of the security guards outside intervening between two groups arguing over a parking space

I was dreading having to go into the office to get a replacement card due to the possibility of a long wait. However, I went in on a Friday afternoon around 1PM and was out of there in 15 minutes. The staff was very helpful.

Place was busy as you would expect, but they were fairly efficient considering the volume of people that they handle. The agent that took care of me was very courteous, helpful, and professional. I've got no complaints, glad that they are there to help us out.

It's a great office. The staff is very friendly and do their best to help you.. The security officers are really friendly, as well. During the warmer months it is like a freezer. So, wear warmer clothes before coming. And no snack machines. So, bring food as it is usually a long wait and kids can get cranky, moms.

From my experience it was a very well run facility. From checking in to walking out the door, the whole process took only 15-20 minutes and I was prepared to wait all afternoon. I got there around 10:15am and there was a few parking spots available. Parking is very limited however. I was impressed to say the least since previous experiences at other SS Administration office were horrendous.

Today I took my mother in law to this office regarding her SS benefit. We went to window #13 and met a very nice, helpful and knowledgeable lady who tried to help us tirelessly. Thank you.

per this link https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/09/your-social-security-number-isnt-suspended-ever it says "Social Security Numbers do not get suspended.". Looks like scam.
