Great company very helpful. Set up an appointment and they came to my house to show me an air purifier called a zephyr that helps with asthma and allergies which I have. Great machine definitely buying one.

Had this very nice gentleman call name Don, he explained that someone in our home had helped with a survey about air quality and wanted to drop off a gift for there appreciation for helping with the survey, and at the same time they wanted my opinion on a new air purification system which helps with people with breathing issues, I was very interested in looking at it as my 9 year old suffers asthma and pet allergies. Had a very nice young man who was names Wes, very friendly young man. He showed me the purifier called the zephyr. I was very impressed with the machine I wanted to purchase. Wes had said they had financing. Spoke with the manager who was very interested in nice. He said could make monthly payments. It works wonders my son and I just love the air purifer. Would recommend to anyone with breathing issues.

Me too. Caller said I had just won a $300. prize for answering some survey, I had to be home to get the household prize... tonight during a 1 hour period to receive it in person., Don't remember answering a survey, I declined, and she quickly hung up. Most unethical.

I had this call was Coast medical air, the agents are very polite and I actually thought at first they had said "Coastal health" but they repeated themselves and said coast medical air not associated with Coastal health. Maybe whoever heard that had a bad connection .? Or was hard of hearing . They legimately state "Coast medical air " first sentence. Just calling as an advertisement for the zephyr air purifier. No sales involved. They were courteous and helpful and answered all my questions. Made an appointment for someone to drop off my gift at no cost and show me the air purifier. :) Looking forward to it

Caller ID said Coast Medical. Said that someone in our household answered their survey about air quality. To say thank you, they were going to come on over and bring us a gift. Hmmmm, that I should be so lucky. We didn't feel out a survey. They are coming over just to bring over a thank-you gift? I feel an in-home demonstration coming. No, thank you.

Same experience. Claimed someone helped with a survey (not true) and wanted to offer a lovely thank you gift valued at $300.

Had a phone call from this company - the woman stated that they wanted to drop off a free gift to thank me for participating in a survey a year ago. She then tried to "book an appointment' to drop off the free gift. I asked her what it was, and why I had to be home to receive it. She claimed that it was worth $300 and that they "couldn't just leave it on my front porch." This approach at getting through the door reminds me of the techniques used by Kirby Vacuum Cleaner salesmen years ago. Ultimately the woman hung up on me when I continued to ask questions. A free gift worth $300 for answering a survey? Sad and unoriginal to boot.

All she would say is that they provide medical equipment and were responding to a survey I supposedly completed. (No way!). When I asked to be removed from the call list, she hung up. Even though the call display said Coast Health, I am pretty sure she said Coastal Health, which is confusing because it is similar to the name of a B.C. health region. This is an unsolicited sales call that calls people - even those on the Do Not Call registry.

It clearly says "coast medical" on call display .not coastal health. Only because coast medical air doesn't fit on call display

Always suspicious of a free gift. Alarms rang when I needed to be home to receive it. No thank you, I have enough nuisance and annoying phone calls that I block. She hung up when I said I wouldn't be home at the requested time.

Same as others experienced - called today to say that to thank me for completing a survey, they would be delivering a gift worth $300!! No purchase required and could they drop it off today at 5:30? Would the Mr. be home as well? I asked them to repeat the name of the company, then said I never copmpleted a survey and the caller said oh, ok and hung up.

I just had someone get very angry that I did not want the 'free gift' and slammed the phone down after repeatedly telling her I was not interested. I looked it up to find out it was a SCAM. They telemarket people and say they filled out a survey about air quality. BS. Wake up people NOTHING is for FREE. Except love:) Have a nice day and don't get taken for a fool.

Definitely not a scam!! No one is asking for any money ..they are just wanting help with their advertising promotion and getting the publics feedback on their zephyr air purifier. People are so nasty and assume and believe everything they read on line ! That's a flippin joke !! If you are a person that believe s everything they read they should stay off the internet. ! There's tons of information on line that isnt fact or accurate. It's ridiculously ridiculous that people assume because people have written it's a scam it must be !! NOT!! .. maybe get a fricken brain and decide for yourself by your own assessment other than. What others write /say

A somewhat rude woman called and offered a gift for a survey i had done with them. Thats the second lie. The first lie was presenting themselves as Coast "Medical', when in fact they are not medical, but merely a dishonest phone marketer trying to get into your home, much like the nefarious vacuum cleaners of old. Summary --- liars and deceivers, and i wouldn't recommend buying from someone who has to be dishonest about what they do.

Ugh! My mom fell for this and setup an appointment, has anybody successfully called to cancel this 'appointment' and 'prize'? Don't want these dbags coming around my house. Told my mom yet again to cancel the landline which is nothing more than a pathway for scammers into your home.in today's modern world.

Second time this company has phoned me claiming I filled in a survey. Although the company itself seems to have a good record with the BBB, anyone calling me and fabricating a story about a completed survey, which never happened, is a scammer, not to mention violating the 'no call' legislation.

Had this very nice lady call and identify herself as Coast Medical. It wasn't until she explained that someone in our home had helped with a survey and they wanted to drop off a gift this afternoon to show their appreciation for helping with the survey, She avoided telling me what this was about and I became suspicious. When I pushed she admitted they were not "medical". but still insisted they wanted to drop off a gift this afternoon. I'm really annoyed by this as I am waiting for a call from Coastal Health regarding a medical situation and that was why I returned her call. I think the name Coast Medical is a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.

Having read through the responses here regarding this number, it is a mixed bag of information. Like the others, the person on the phone was quite polite and obviously had some information about me. Since we sometimes do surveys, and who can remember everything all the time, I stayed a bit longer on the call. The red flag was the amount of the "gift". Not interested in a demonstration or anyone coming into my home, so that was not going to happen. What I find interesting is the first few posts at the beginning were glowing reviews with purchases of the machine. They fail to mention the receiving of the gift or what the gift was. If I received a $300 gift and everything was legit it would definitely be in my post about the company. Are they legit? Can't say. Better Business Bureau has people who love it or who hate the sales tactics of the free gift carrot to get in the door. There is a website for zephyrairsystems.com, so they seem to operate in the different provinces under different names - Coast Medical Air in BC. Phone number that called did not match contact details on the site. So could go either way, but not something I want to be involved in. From what I could piece together, it's a real company that may not be using the best sales tactics to get sales.

Received a call today from "Coast Medical." They said I filled out a survey a year ago and wanted to give me a free gift worth $300, and could they set up an appointment to drop it off this afternoon.. I replied that I didn't remember filling out a survey, and she responded that it wasn't surprising that I had forgotten, since she couldn't remember what she had for breakfast.. I asked what the gift was, and she said that she didn't know--it was usually something associated with the household or travel. I said that I wasn't interested. When she asked why I wouldn't be interested in a free gift, I responded that I had everything I needed. She ended the call quickly after that. I have now looked on the Web and I see that if someone had come, there would have been a sales demonstration of a product. At no time during the call did she indicate that she was selling anything, or that sales would be involved with the free gift 'at no cost to me'. She did not say what the survey I supposedly filled out was about. I'm glad that I said no.

Really resent this type of call....display said Coast Medical, which was the only reason I answered. Then used the phoney line that they were calling because I'd filled out a survey(not true). I hung up the phone because he was overly smarmy, and because he launched into a sales pitch.

Set up an evening appointment with spouse for 2 hours after the call was received. Spouse realized after hanging up that it was a sales scam and canceled the appointment but the salesman showed up anyway. I checked the website and was not surprised that there was no price to be found for either of the two models of air purifiers shown. Zephyr is the brand name.

Like so many other comments given, I received a call thanking for filling out a form (not so) and as a thank you someone would come to my house with the $300 gift, this also in recognition of my assessment of their air purifier called a Zephyr. When I said no she questioned why not, Also asked about my address, living companion and occupation.. I had become suspicious and definitely refused the request. Must be a scam.
