Second phone call from that number in two days...Sounds like Indian guy from Technical Co. insisting in a conversation even if I told him not interested in anything by phone and then I hung up.

Getting calls from this number daily but I don't answer, which is the best defense against scammers. Now that i know what it is, it will be blocked.

I received a call from this number from a female with a heavy Indian accent, who identified herself as Haley. She said she was calling from Medicare to update my medical profile. She said she wanted to verify that I had chronic lower back pain. I told her that I've never received a call from Medicare from anyone asking me to update my medical profile. I asked her for her name and she repeated her name was Haley. I then asked her for her "call back" number so I could verify that she worked for Medicare. At this point, she hung up on me. The fact that she identified herself as an employee of Medicare is outright fraud. This matter should be pursued by Medicare and Federal Law Enforcement. I don't understand why the FTC allows phone numbers with multiple fraud complaints to remain in service. The phone companies should also be monitoring these complaints and shutting down the phone numbers themselves.

Guy with Indian accent claims to be from Microsoft Tech Support, a well-known scam. I kept him on the line for 10 minutes or so, pretending to be a really slow old man (I am one, so that was easy). I eventually asked for his zip code, which confused him. Then I asked for his address, which he gave as 1433 Birch St., Mount Pleasant, Il,60065, which doesn't exist and isn't in New York where the 516 area code is. When I asked for his Social Security number, he said he didn't know if he had one.

516-453-6886 supposedly comes from Manhasset, NY. The male voice sounded Iike someone from India. He said something was wrong with my computer and he was calling to walk me through to fix the problem. I told him nothing was wrong with my computer and not to call again. He called again today. I have blocked this number from coming in again.

Starts out being a TV expert. Truth: I have no TV service. Then he became a computer expert. Both times he said something like I am from IPV Tv. I have spectrum so I have tried to block the number. Not sure that will work but it is definitely a scam.

I used to get several calls from Microsoft Tech each week UNTIL I bought a phone where I can block the number, it works! But before that I played a game with them. I didn't even have my computer on when he called and asked me to enter some key strokes. I told him I did as he said but that nothing happened, so he gave me some different key strokes! Same result, I told hem nothing happened! At the time I was kicked back in my Lazy Boy and not even near my computer so after playing this game with him for at least 15 minutes I told him that I knew he was a scammer and what he could do with his call! I was not very lady Like either but for a long time they did NOT call back. I love doing this to scam calls and often play with them like that.

India sounding male (which was extremely difficult to understand) stated that I would receive a new medicare card in the mail @ my address (which he stated to me over the phone!!). I interrupted him & adv'd him that Medicare does NOT call people at their homes & that he was a scammer. He immediately hung up. So done with this bullshit..The phone number was 516-453-6886. Don't answer~
