No descriptive info given. Asked for my husband to call back "with important information he will be interested in". We did not respond to the message.

Robot call from 510-897-5404 "This is from Kaiser Permanente calling for "my full name", is it she??" I just hung up after all the YES or NO scams I've been hearing out there. NEVER say anything if the other line is a robot!

My boyfriend and I have both been getting spammed with these calls over the past few weeks. It is almost certainly a Yes or No scam. DO NOT ANSWER!!!

This is a call from a Kaiser robot to go over benefit changes and inform you of how deductibles work.

Just received a "missed" call from this number. Called back and a robot voice asked "Hello, this is Kaiser Permanent calling. Please answer yes or no. Is this {my name}...yes or no?" Hung up without answering. Kaiser has NEVER called me asking confirmation unless I initiated things first.

Your Rights

If you're subjected to harassing robocalls or debt collection calls, you have rights under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Each of these federal consumer protection laws prohibits callers and debt collectors from engaging in certain types of activities. These activities can include:

  • Calling before 8:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m.
  • Robocalling your cell phone without your consent
  • Calling you at work after you've told them you're not allowed to receive calls
  • Using profanity or abusive language
  • Threatening you with a lawsuit or arrest
  • Mistakenly calling you for a debt you don't owe
  • Texting your cell phone without permission
  • Sending you faxes without authorization

Under the law, you have the right to sue illegal callers in federal court. In fact, you can potentially recover up to $1,500 per call. Legal representation won’t cost you a penny, because the law says that illegal callers have to pay your attorney fees.

If you're ready to bring an illegal caller to justice, report the call using our online form (and tap the button asking for a free case evaluation) or phone 844-685-8700 right now.
