They are looking for someone with a name similar to mine. I have told them this previously and they said they would take me off their call list. They continue to call.

There was no option to remove my number from their calling list. As soon as I asked, the caller hung up. This is the 3rd time I've requested my number be removed.

SCAM artists spoofed CallID to FRAUD DataMine Phishing for ANY personal information! Protect yourself! SAY NOTHING! 2 second silence is recorded to gather intel on you, then all data is saved in their database and used to pry more from you the next time they call. And they WILL call again. Answer no questions. Don't even verify your name! Tell them NOTHING except: ''Do not call. We are registered on the national do not call list. Each violation will be prosecuted at $500 penalty. DO NOT CALL!'' then disconnect and dial *57 to send a call trace to law enforcement. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malicious_Caller_Identification Remember to follow-up and file a formal police report. *Unlisted or Unregistered number* RoboCall Scammers. Caller ID reported '''' Location: Louisville, KY Landline Provider: AT&T SOUTHEAST or BELLSOUTH TELECOMM INC - KY. Dba South Central Bell Tel Switch Office: LSVLKYAPDS0 or LSVNKYJHDS0 Callers claim to be ? from ? or other lies. Callers claim to be Ann from Political Polls of America http://www.politicalopinionsofamerica.org or other lies. If you contact them in any way, such as ''Take us off your list'' opt-out online or by dialing 1 or 2, then you are instead validating that a human ear is responding to the Turing Test and placed permanently ON their SUCKERS LIST. The only valid information on their website is a regurgitated gallup.com RSS newsfeed, another trick to appear legitimate. Nowhere on the site is there a telephone number or address or even a way to engage their services = RED FLAG! ''Political Survey'' is their excuse to circumvent the National Do Not Call regulations. They claim if I take the survey I'd receive a free 2 day cruise to the Bahamas or a gift card. Truth is - hard sell of condo-timeshare! There are actually two scams here, the initial cold-call canvassers who get paid by the ''free vacation'' crew who trap you on a cruise for high pressure vacation rental sales. They also abuse these numbers: 202-599-8470 253-382-9912 360-474-3924 502-468-5198 502-632-4414 502-632-4428 502-873-0246 503-902-8103 971-229-1183 Also see: http://wafflesatnoon.com/2012/02/15/5026324414-phone-number-bothering-you/ Call type: Scammers/Fraudsters
