Well, he obviously has a very good phone plan. I have talked to him extensively. There certainly are contradictions in his story, but his explanation is that he is a successful businessman and needed to construct an assumed identity to protect his anonymity, and does not reveal himself until he is convinced something will work out. He is a very good speaker with a deep, strong s**y voice. If you are like me, you will *want* to believe him even if everything does not add up. But I am humanist of a new order in any case, so I am trying to understand him and whether any part of his story is true. The story he sells you is one of wonderful possibility; if it is all constructed then I think compassion and care is the only thing that can help him. To say he is an a**hole as one commenter said, I think is off the mark. Is he in any way legitimate? He is a legitimate human being, beyond that it is hard to say, at least at this point.
