Fake https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-urges-public-to-stay-alert-for-scam-phone-calls ... The IRS will not: Call you to demand immediate payment. The IRS will not call you if you owe taxes without first sending you a bill in the mail. Demand that you pay taxes and not allow you to question or appeal the amount you owe. Require that you pay your taxes a certain way. For instance, require that you pay with a prepaid debit card. Ask for your credit or debit card numbers over the phone. Threaten to bring in police or other agencies to arrest you for not paying.

I had blocked this number but it went through to my voice mail. When you call the number back it rings and then turns to a busy signal. Too bad I didn't get to speak to anyone. I work for a police department and it would have been interesting to hear what their response would be.

Called my parents home phone and left robotic voice(woman) message stating IRS issued an arrest warrant and is watching physical property. I then decided to call the number above stated. I had an hour long phone conversation with the scammer who I then found out is from Mexico and was calling from his home with 9 other individuals in the room calling/scamming as well. He stated the reasoning he is a scammer is because his government (Mexico federal Gov.) takes all of their money and being a scammer is the only way he can make money to live off of.

They have issued a warrant for my arrest. Good grief. The real IRS doesn't do this.
