Midland Credit Dirtbags--they buy 20 year old debts for pennies on the dollar and then try to scare callers into collecting the full amt + tons of interest all the while KNOWING the debt is TIME BARRED and CANNOT BE COLLECTED LEGALLY. Someone needs to do some background checks on their employees and start publishing their home addresses and telephone numbers online so THEY can get back some of the "love" they get paid to dish out ;)

They call six to ten times a day! At 8am or 10pm. They will even call on a Sunday morning! They are ruthless. The worst part is the debt they claim to be collecting is really old and I am not even liable for it. They are bad people and need to stop harassing good people. They are Midland Credit

For everyone that receives these type of calls, you can get a consumer lawyer and sue them and all others that constantly call your phone. You will have to start documenting them, snap a picture of the day and time that they call from your caller i.d., and keep a log. They are relentless with excessive calls and is considered harassment.

My 13 year old daughter has received 6 calls from Midland Credit Agency on her cell phone in just the last 24 hours. THEY ARE RELENTLESS. I called them last week and told them to take her number out of their database because it's clearly an old number for someone else, and they won't stop. I put a block on it and now i'm reporting them to the Attorney General's office. IF THEY ARE HARRASSING YOU CONTACT THE COLORADO ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE, OFFICE OF CREDIT REGULATION AT car@state.co.us. Lodge a formal complaint about their practices.

This number came on my caller I.D. today, and also other days, but can't remember the other days, when I asked them who they are what type of company they are , the person on the other end says" I can't tell you without knowing if I am speaking with the person I am calling for", and I tell them i am not telling them who I am till I know what type of company they are, and she keeps telling the same thing over, and over, so I told her if she's not gonna tell me what type of company they are then I told her not to call back, and then I hung up on her.

I assume this is who it is because they won't identify themselves. I have told them over and over that they have the wrong number and they basically call me a liar and I have reported them and gotten nowhere that I know of. Now, that being said, last time they called, I acted like I couldn't hear them; then I said a different name and screamed out to that person to come to the phone. I set the phone down next to running water and continue to scream for the person they didn't want over and over again and eventually they hung up and haven't called back. Before that, they called 4-6 times per day. Try that.

That's the name that pops up with this number. I'm sure it's probably not a real name.

They call 10-15 times a day. They Caller ID Spoof all the time. They'll call my desk and it will show a local area code. Ten seconds later they call my cell which has a different area code, it too will show a local area code. Another ten seconds later they will call my other cell, with a different local area code as well. They are REALLY stupid, they bought a 23 yr old debt my wife had and pressed her to pay them. Boy howdee, they had no idea what kind of crazy she is, I'll guarantee they don't call her again.

I have started getting calls about an account from an ex-wife that is about sixteen years old, we have been a part for close to eighteen yean now and what I can understand how they got the phone number from my company issued cell phone. It is getting real old telling them over and over again that I have seen her in years and could care lees where she is. If you are faced with this same thing, and have no relationship with your ex-in laws, toss out a few names and cities to them them nd let her parents did with her \"mess\"....

First words out of her mouth in broken, almost unintelligible accent, \"Theees call may be recorded\" I just hung up...sounds like the same people referenced above. I have no outstanding debt...even from centuries ago....Have had my phone number for over 3 years...not sure who they are after but it is annoying....

This agency has been calling on an old debt that has already been paid. I had a cell phone with T-Mobile years ago that I cancelled. I asked them for my balance due upon closing the account. They didn't give me the exact bill with the cancellation fees added up properly and I owed a few hundred dollars. Then RPG collection agency called me at work and I set up payments immediately to pay it. I have the bank statements showing I paid them, but T-Mobile sold the debt to Midland and I can't get them to write a letter even though they will tell me on the phone that I have paid it off and owe nothing. So RPG must have sold the paid debt to Midland or T-Mobile did. Either way I am tired of being harassed for a debt that has been paid and out of 3 companies mentioned above not one will help me. I have already explained that the statute of limitation on debt collecting has passed and informed Midland what they are doing is wrong. They will let it go for a month or two then start back up. They call about every hour to hour and a half on my cell phone. Same number I have had for over 13 years, even through the T-mobile mess.

Just an FYI they also call from 571-371-7143. That is the ONLY time I get "voicemail" and it automated telling me they are on behalf of Nicholas Rodriguez (...I think??? Last name is right, first might be wrong) who is some attorney attempting to collect a debt. Except when I google his name and the "company". I can't find anything except complaints. *sigh*.
