SHE SAID IT WAS MDRS WHATEVER THAT IS
Called stating he was from Dynasty Collection and that my husband had a past due account with Verizon from 2003 for $837.61. Claimed they were only looking to collect $299.97, but would settle for $100.00. His story changed a little when I informed him that we currently have Verizon, and if there was a past due balance, we would have been notified by them, and they would have required a deposit (which they didn't). All of a sudden, he "noticed" that we attempted to open an account in May 2013, when just moments before he claimed to have no idea that we are current customers. I advised him to send paperwork.
I answered the call, but couldn't hear anything (I was in a known dead zone in my house). The fact he or she didn't call back or leave a message lead me to the assumption it was not a doctor's office (only reason I answer unknown calls). About 4 hours later I received another call (and I NEVER receive calls from unknown numbers because I don't give out my cell phone number) from 813-375-9212 that was a debt collector, though she wasn't even looking for me. Not sure how she got my number. So look out for both numbers as they appear to be connected.
