Left voicemail that our Microsoft License Key has expired. Said it was an emergency that we call them and left a toll free number 1=800=259=6196. I called and informed them that I didn't have a computer.

Left me a vm telling me MS License key expired and to call them. I called the number and they answered Microsoft Support. I told them I wanted to renew my license key and they asked if I was at my computer. I told them no and the agent said to call back when I was at my computer because that is the only way they could remote into my computer and re-activate Windows. I asked the cost to renew and the agent said $100.00. and then hung up. Obvious scam...

Call came from 1-800-333-8200 and said Microsoft license key had expired. It's an emergency and call 1-800-259-6196. this happened to my father in law several years (86 yrs old) and they wiped out his computer when he wouldn't give them a credit card number!
