This is a scam call...they claim to be calling to lower your credit card interest, but never state what company the credit card is from. I know it is a scam because I do not have ANY credit cards, only a debit card from my bank.

I just applied for credit card. don't even have card number yet. Call to lower interest rate seemed suspicious. Called card company, not one of their numbers.

Same as the other comments above, offer to lower my credit card interest rate but no mention of who they are. Clearly a cold call. The message stated that I should consider this my final notice to be able to take advantage of this offer. Oh, if only that were true. I don't have any credit cards with interest rates to lower, only a debit card through my bank. If you want to lower your interest rate, contact your credit card company directly.

They called, and I did not answer the call.

This company called and told me I had a credit card with them with a balance due. I dont have an account for it to be late. This is a scam.

They called but I missed it.

They call my home number every day and today they called my cell phone! I don't even have a credit card, so it is a scam!

Just got the 'Hello this is Heather' call on my cellphone . This is the annoying call about reducing credit card rates. I have blocked it, but sure they will switch to another number.

I BELIEVE THIS IS A SCAM... I HAVE HAD SEVERAL CALLS WHERE IT'S A LADY DOING A SALES PITCH ABOUT CREDIT CARDS AND LOWERING INTERESTS. IT THEN GIVES YOU THE OPTION TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE AND PUSH OPTION 1. I DID THIS... THEN IT GIVES YOU SOME ARABIC SOUNDING MAN. I ASK ABOUT IT AND SAY I DONT HAVE CREDIT CARDS AND THEY HANG UP.

Since I didn't recognize the number, I did not answer the phone. The call went to voice mail and the caller did not leave a message.

Solution to these kinds of calls is pretty simple. If you don't recognize the number don't answer it. Block it if it calls repeatedly. If it's a legit call they will leave a message.

I get enough scam phone calls as it is. I didn't think this one was one but I did not call it back. There was no message on my voicemail so I considered it a scam but did not redial the number. I just looked it up on this website. I DID NOT APPRECIATE finding out it was a scam as I have relatives in the Harrisburg PA area. It made me worry; obviously I can stop worrying about it now.

Called about 4p.m. today. I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer it. It went to voicemail and no message was left. Please stop annoying me.

So, I just got a phone call from 717-238-5396. It’s an automated call saying that I can save money by lowering the interest rate on my credit card. To learn more press 1 and to discontinue getting calls to press 2. I decided to play along and press 1. Some non-English-as-a-first-language man answers and goes through his spill. I then ask him “Which credit call are you calling about?” He says “Any Visa Mastercard with BOA, Chase, Citi and many other banks.” He then ask if I have any credit cards over 10% interest. I reply “Something like that.” I ask him again “Exactly which card are you calling about?” He replies, “Any card you have with over 10% interest.” I then ask tell him “That’s funny seeing I do not have any credit cards.” He then goes on a tangent about me wasting his time and that I should have pressed number 2 instead of number 1. I told him that his company called me and I just wanted to see what was going on. I asked him how did they get my number and he said that I shouldn't be wasting his time. Really!?!? The point: This is the 2nd time in 2 years I have gotten this call. If you pay down your debts and your credit score reflects the progress you have made, you will get these phone calls. The last call was slightly different because they were asking me to pay an old Discover Bill. When I told the lady that I have never had a Discover card she hung up the phone.

My fiance got a call in Rochester from this number. But it appears it was a good thing she did not get to the phone quickly enough. She tried calling back because we have a daughter in the Harrisburg area that is in the first few months of her pregnancy. First thing we thought was it was the Harrisburg Hospital so we panicked trying to call it back. Then called my daughter only to find out she is fine.
