Call every day. Seems like these dreary do nothings would get tired of listening to an answer machine. Black female voice..Something about credit cards. Sounds like a scam.

Lower bank card interest scam, AGAIN. Many calls received in the past from various other numbers, with exact same recording.

When I answered, I heard a recorded message about finance, with instructions to press 1 for more information. After I hung up, I dialed 714-551-6873 but on the other end of the line, I heard no ring, no busy signal, no recorded answer, no sound at all.

I just sent the following comments to the Do-Not-Call Registry: Frankly, I don't know why I bother to report these calls because it appears you are unable to do anything about them. The volume increases but there is no relief. Nonetheless, I have received perhaps a dozen (probably more) calls from an entity that sometimes identifies itself as "Card Services". This time, Caller ID showed only the following number: U01281500110121 [In addition to 714 551 6873, which I'm sure was a spoof.] As usual, the recorded message said "This is your second and final notice" to take advantage of their scheme to reduce my credit card rate. Usually I hang up, but this time I pressed "1" so I could ask the agent to stop calling me (I had made such a request once before). As soon as it became apparent to the agent that I was not a potential victim, he hung up -- as such callers usually do. One wonders what they hope to achieve by annoying people, but I guess there are enough SUCKERS out there, who respond to their scheme, that they consider the effort worthwhile. Never mind the law. Thank you for letting me vent.

I received the exact same calls from these people too! They are apparently calling from around Westminster/Orange in the Greater LA area of Southern California. Since they obviously don't respect the Do Not Call list most of us are on, it might be helpful to know that the contact info for the nearest FBI Office in Los Angeles is at wwwebsite fbi.gov/losangeles. Among some other sites reporting these same scammy calls are callercenter.com/714-551-6873.html , whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/7145516873 , callferret.com/714-551-6873.html and whocalled.us/lookup/7145516873

They make an automated call regularly. I answered this time, pressed 1 to speak to a person. When I asked to be removed from the call list, they just hung up on me. They didn't say a work - just click. Very rude. I called back & pressed 2 to have my number removed from their list. Must wait 48 hrs to see if it works.

It is a scam but I always press 1 to politely answer any question they might have to find out who they and where they are calling from and they hang up on me too. The best defense is to put this number on your block list.

I have reported these people to the Attorney General (after a million calls from this number and me telling them to take the number off their call list because I am on the do not call list - which is a joke but that is not the topic of this thread ...) Attorney General's office basically said there was nothing they could do .. be that as it may ... I do not see a reason to be polite so when they called this time I pressed one and when the the woman came on I hit her with about 8 really disgusting expletives and hung up. Not surprisingly a minute later, I received a call through my privacy manager. The caller was obviously the !@#*()% that I spoke AT, but the privacy call manager blocked the individuals personal PRIVATE number ...

Received a call from the number 714-551-6873. They said to lower the interest rates on my credit cards. Well I don't use credit cards. Seems like a lot of people get these calls. Just a bit of information for anyone out there. Not a sales gimmick, just some information that you all might like. I purchased from Amazon a device called T-Lock pro. you hook it up to your phone and you can block up to 1500 phone numbers. Most phones can only block up to 20 numbers. When these people call, you add them to the Black List. The next time they call, your phone rings once and then they are disconnected. I love it. So check it out if you are tired of these annoying calls that don't follow the Do Not Call List.

I have recieved multiple calls from this #. When I ask them to stop calling me they hang up. When i call them I gat a recording that asks if I want to speak to a rep. or be placed on a "do not call"list. I'm already on a do not call list. when I try to reach a rep, they say the line is busy. when I opt to speak to a "do not call" person, a recording says "thank you," and hang up
