I have received several calls with this number given as the call-back. supposedly the IRS is about to arrest me and I must give them a call (presumably with credit card in hand) to prevent agents from arresting me. Why a line of crap. How many people give in to this scam? Others suggest this is south Asian based crime syndicate, but I could care less where they are except that they are apparently beyond the reach of the justice department. Go figure. Stay away from this line unless you want to fund the mob.
This company has called before, and I have reported it before.
said he was from the IRS was going to have me arerested
Constant messages that make no sense. Message seems to be cut off each time by sender.
This person is a scammer...I called the # back, I was able to hear him speak in his Lanague of Palistein and he was very rude when I told him that I did not go online and apply for a loan. I called back several times and bugged him with questions of how he got my #...he hung-up each time...Then my husband called and the call went to a voice mail...Think calling him makes him afraid that we are on to him.
They call me everyday! I have told the caller to stop calling me, but she has various excuses including I must have inquired about their services.
This was a text message on my cell phone that said to reply STOP to be removed.
Frank Murphy called me and said that my husband would be arrested within two days if we didn't send him almost $200. It shook me up and I called my daughter. She said something doesn't sound right. He wanted me to go to Wal Mart and get a green dot money voucher and he would give me instructions on what to do. I called the sheriff's office, and they said it's a scam. They'd have to go through them, and it wasn't going to happen. They also said that it's worse around the holidays. They scare people, especially the elderly, into sending them money. Don't do it!!
