Me too. Same here. After I posted chart reading on HLF on CNBC facebook site. The name of company was Volt Delta LLC
Robo call announced "This is Volt Delta calling on a test call on behalf of directory asistance", at which point I hung up. Such a waste of time calling a business with a robo call. Call showed on caller ID as represented in recording Oct 2013
phone rang at 12:15 the caller Id showed Volt Delta Pre recorded message. Said its not a salutation call - but a directory service call. Enter your 10 digit phone to avoid more calls. Its all about getting live numbers to sell to other business. I sent complaint form to both Florida and National do not call list.
It wants to get your number is what I am guessing. The robocall voice asks you to put in your number to discontinue the calls. To me it sounded scammy so I didn't. It does give you an option to call a live person which I find highly suspicious as well...They Are in NY why are they calling the west coast?
I called and reported this to the FCC. Please do the same. Look them up online.
I don't care what this company says, I don't believe them. The are call center management firm, which means selling phone lists. I really don't believe their c**k and bull story about verifying numbers for directory assistance. After some relative peace without robo callers I've been deluged with robo calls today. I think it's due to Volt Data sending out verified working numbers. Where did they come up with Volt Delta. Sounds like they want to hide what they really do. Sell phone lists for profit and not caring whose life they make harder.
