solicitation call...credit company I think. I didn't bother to listen longer than 3 seconds and hung up. I am on the DNC list. What's the point of being on it when low-life still call?
This number just called me and when I asked to be removed from their calling list she talked over me.I asked again a little louder only to be told not to F**king yell at her.. Wish I could call her management but then again she is probably trying to commit credit card fraud
Answerd phone , pre-recorded message sounded like a cheap "B" 50's movie robot seeking to lower your interest rates on your credit cards. Press 9 to remove from there calling list.
Said Hello twice , no response
This number keeps calling me. I have asked to be removed from there call list over, and over. I am also on the do not call list. When I ask to speak to someone about it they hang up!
If it happens again call, 1-800-276-2394 and report it as fraud. I did, and they shut them down! I hope for good!
Credit card company calling to get you to lower your rate. My guess is, it is a scam.
Repeatedly receiving Robo-calls from 561-910-2593. Five (5) last week alone. One today (11/19/12) at 1051 hours from "Credit Services." Name is shown intermittently on Caller ID box. Number is always shown. The caller is using a robo-calling program that is NOT negated by a Telezapper. Female voice comes on an says, "To reduce your credit cards rates Press #1 for a representative. If you wish to not be called again then Press #9." When you press #9 it goes to live representative who starts in trying to get your credit card information. When you inform them that you do not want any calls they get rude and laugh at you and hangup. This most definitely a credit card scam attempt. I have filed multiple complaints on national DNC list for each call. Back traces using Whitepages.com shows that the number is a VoIP from Boca Raton, Fl. Most likely being "spoofed." A search on whycallme.com shows that the exchange is managed by Broadwing/Level 3 Communications. 800notes.com had a number of 1-800-276-2394 for Broadwing to call and complain. Called that number and got "Wayne" at Level 3 Communications. "Wayne" verified that 561-910-2593 is one of their numbers and is being used by Ad-Base Systems, Inc, 325 Mount Lebanon Blvd, Pittsburg, PA 15234-1504. "Wayne" suggested contacting the Florida Attorney General's Office since number traces back to Florida. Contacted FL AG's office and was referred to Division of Consumer Affairs. A check of DCA's License/Complaint system shows Ad-Base is in their data base for four (4) "Do Not Call" violations in 2011. Complaints had been closed. Well, it is time to reopen the case. Here is the link to the FL Division of Consumer Affairs Division complaint form: (https://csapp.800helpfla.com/CSPublicApp/Complaints/FileComplaint.aspx) I would suggest that others who are receiving the same calls contact Florida's AG about the situation and file complaints. Also, based on the advice from "Wayne" at Broadwing/Level 3 Communications, I will be filing a complaint with the PA AG's office. Here is the link to that office: http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/complaints.aspx?id=451# Finally I advise all to contact your individual state's AG office to file a Consumer Complaint since it deals with an interstate violation of the national "Do Not Call" list.
1 year later and it still happens fed's are useless
Got a phone call (8:58am) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize. (Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?) They, of course, left no message. As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.] I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 68 now.) We should all pile on.
