Wanted free service -- wanted quote -- wanted me to pick them up and bring to shop -- said located in DC.
Called three times and used
661 380-4902 as well
Just get their number and ask to call them back while they are talking with you. Like Oops! Something came up, please give me your number and I will call you right back.
Nothing when I answered. So I called it back and got a recording that said "the number you have reached is a number associated with a web service provider and not associated with any specific users..." and went on and on...
i got 5 calls from two numbers i.e +15595158002 and +16613804705.
There was an Indian person was talking followed by the another person they were using very bad and abusive language and it was very disturbing .
Said he was from Microsoft and was getting in touch with me because I was ignoring the notifications in my email that something was wrong with my computer, I told him nothing was wrong and to remove my number from his calling list, he informed he he couldn't do that so I told him I was contacting the Better Business Beurea and Dept of Consumer Affairs and hung up.
Another call supposedly from Microsoft. I hung up. Says his name was Sean/Shaun Williams. Again, call came from California. This time the ID on the phone number said Jennie O'Neill. Scammers who have already been reported are at it again using a different telephone number but person with same Indian accent.
caller keeps calling saying there's someone trying to access my windows computer and wants me to get on my computer so he can fix it . When I tell him I'm not interested he comes up with some reason why I need to do it . He just keeps calling me
I received a call 8/30/14 at 4:10pm from 5595158002 with an Indian male telling me that they were calling from Windows computer department, I hung up immediately on the suspicion that it was a scam. When I googled the number I saw that more people have received calls from that number and its indeed a scam. Don't fall for it people.
Some person with a very thick Indian accent called my cell phone and tried to act like a Microsoft technician. I told him I had traced his number, and the NSA was sending drones to bomb his house. He hung up.
I got call from 559-515-8002 was an indian man saying he was from Microsoft and that someone in foreign location was hacking my computer and he could talk me through the repair process or whatever,i hung up and looked up the call on google and now know its a scam so added them to reject list
Called me telling me I had been hacked. I knew it was a scam but I wanted to see what his M.O. was. He told me to go to event viewer. I cut him off and told him I was a computer security engineer and I knew he was going to show me some meaningless errors in event viewer and try to convince me it meant I was hacked. I use event viewer all the time and there are lots of insignificant warnings and errors that show up there. I hung up before he could do that and try to get me to download whatever spyware he had.
Kept getting calls, googled, saw its a scam. When they called again i answered with a Indian accent and was messing with them. What pieces of s**t, folks don't fall for it. Says he works for Microsoft and wants to help take virus off computer.
