I'm sure they're gonna tell us they're with Google and are looking for 1 realtor in our area to put at the top of google and send 100's of clients to us each week... I'm so tired of these scams. I told them once that I couldn't possibly screen 100's of potential clients each week and they needed to adjust their pitch to make it seem more realistic.

I recieved a call from this number all I got was dead air so I hung up after a few seconds. I am a Realtor. The way I handle these types of calls is I put them in my cell phone contact list as " Ad Call - Do Not Pick Up)". So far I have about 45+ of these types of phone numbers in my address book so whenever they call again I know not to answer. You can use this same tactic to identify any unwanted caller number so you don' t have to waste time answeriing the call.

Sells marketing items to Realtors. Calls with a 'joke' then says they have some overruns of giveaways for Realtors, etc., at great prices. Basically, a TM'er and should be fined 100,000!

I also am a "Realtor" and have been getting these calls. Everyone here on this site who has placed their number on the do not call list should go ahead and file a complaint.... Maybe if the Gov't gets a number of them, someone will take actions against these fools !!!

Same as all the previous comments. I'm a Realtor and have received 2 missed calls from this phone number. I live in Virginia and didn't answer--assuming it must be a telemarketer when the number came up from California. Glad I didn't answer!

I answered the call, with the owners name, followed by my name, and said 'how may I help you' there was a delay and the telemarketer said, Oh Hello 'owners name' , this is Global Marketing -- so clearly he didn't listen to how I answered the phone. He asked if there were any realtors active in our city. Well yea sure there are, since we are in Silicon Valley with 20 offers per listing and buyers are paying all-cash and over the asking price. I told the guy to get to the point. He laughed and hung-up on me.

I don't want to contribute to the sound of the broken record, but I'm a Realtor too! I think it would be safe to assume,it's probably a sales call for a service offered to Real Estate professionals.

I am also a Realtor. The call is from Homes.com, one of the many websites that poaches listing information and promotes it without respect to status.(could have been sold six months ago.) the purpose of this is to sell space to advertisers. Real estate is a big draw of potential customers on the Internet. They used to call me on my chemotherapy day even though I told them to leave me alone and that I was in treatment for cancer. They want to upgrade my package. I literally had an attorney friend call them and threaten to sue if they didn't leave me alone. I had enough to worry about. By the way, the story has a happy ending- I'm cancer free. Shhhh... Don't tell Homes.com.
