I received a call starting that my debit hard had been limited and that I need to give personal information to remove the block. This is a scam.
This number texted me 12-22 at 11:23 am "regarding account issue". The text claimed to be from firstname.lastname@example.org. Since the credit card companies that I use do not have my cell number, this call is not from any credit card co. that I use. It look as though the caller is trying to imitate a Verizon text.
I received the following text at at 8pm Saturday. "(Wells Fargo) Call (508)6380616 Regarding Account Restriction." I have a hard time finding a lending institution that works past 4p, let alone weekends. Scam!
This number stated that my Debit card had been put on hold and wanted me to enter my Debit card and Pin #. THIS IS A SCAM!!
Text message to call them ASAP regarding a bogus a/c number.
Received a text from this number today with the msg. "441858XX - blocked due to fraud. So I called the number and it said that that has been an overdraft on my prepaid card and in order to verify I had to enter my 16 digit number. Don't have a prepaid card of any kind. A scam!!!
The person with the name irritated..I just got a text message a few mins ago (12-22-13) with the exact # 441858xx.. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!! ...I KNOW IM NOT CALLING THE # BACK..
"(Achieve) Call: 5086380616 Regarding (441858XX) Account" Clearly a scam, as I have never had such an account number, or any number even close. Scammer is using a land line at Brockton, Massachusetts.
Same as others, received a text 12/22/13 about an account, I did not call it
Same as most above - text to my Verizon phone at 7:10 p.m. 12/22 about a fictitious account (same number as above)
Same as above scam! People suck! Get a job like the rest of us 47%ers you lazy piece of c**p!
Same as above - got a text message regarding an account number. Seemed suspicious, so I ended up here after a quick Google search. I hope that none falls for this! :-(
Ignore their text!Got a text on 12/21 from email@example.com. Simply said, " call (508) 638- 5616 regarding Achieve account." This issue can also be resolved in a much easier way by just going through the much to easy quick link they so generously provided as well. Come on, really? It's a shame that they are trying to come accross as a legitimate place of employment and as an actual place of business. Stop trying to take advantage of people , especially those that may not know any better but to take things at face value, attempt to do the right thing, and then unwittingly fall victim to this bunch of village idiots. Go crawl back in the hole from where you came. Real sleezy
