Sounds like a collection agent. "This message is for John Doe: This is Ricky Hern and it is important that I speak to you. My number is 469-713-3039." Didn't call back.

This number was from a Custom Hardwood Furniture and Lumber Salesman who got my info from a home and garden show. He is incredible crafty, no pun intended... He actually found my work number some how. I work at a professional Banking Company, imagine my surprise to see that he some how obtained my desk number and left me a voicemail. I would never work with someone that uses such shady practices to obtain clients. I don't recommend that you do either.

He called me too and left the same message that it is "important that we speak." I was obviously immediately suspicious as I have had people use these kind of techniques before. Anyhow, it appears he is just a harmless recruiter. If you need a job then you may consider taking the call.

He left a message that, "It is important that we speak." I never call people back that don't leave me a real message RE: Who they are, Who they work for and Why are they calling. Sorry Ricky!!

Tried to sound like he knew the person he was asking for personally. When asked what his call was in reference to, he said "It's a business matter. Just tell him MSI. He'll recogonize the name." Well, no, the person he was asking for did NOT recognize the name. These guys are so evasive cause they know no one wants to talk to them! He's either a recruiter or wants to sell us marketing services.

yes, probably a recruiter for the financial services realm, spoke so fast that I didn't hear the firm name, probably on purpose, and yes, anybody who uses these garbage tactics to get a return phone call is doing more harm to themselves than good. it's on par with cleverly marked or handwritten cards with refinance offers inside. garbage way to do business.

Yup, I'm sure it's another recruiter. We get them all the time. We just don't call back. He said "It's important that we speak." Yeah, right!

This guy is from Time Warner, the parent co. of many cable and media service providers. I just cxl'd my cable but there is a past due balance and I am certain he's calling in reference to THEIR money owed.

Left VM saying "it's important that we speak". No name, no company identification. Called my work #. I would never call anyone back that left that kind of message. Very unprofessional.

I received the same call today from Ricky. I did call back and I got his VM. He's with MSI international. They are a recruiting firm. I don't see a problem with his tactics and I don't know how everyone on here expects him to do business without calling and finding a way to get people to call him back.

Yes...left a generic VM indicating that it was urgent that we spoke. I didn't call back. He called the bank for which i work and pretended he was an interested client to get me to return his call. I called back and expressed concern over his sleazy tactics. He said he'd remove my name from future calls. Today...5 months later...he pretended he was an interested client and had another co-worker forward me his contact info. Quite a sleazeball

He did give me his name and spelled it too. Said he was with MSI he asked for my co-worker, I do believe he is a recruiter. He was polite but not forthcoming about the nature of his business with my office partner.

On the voice mail message earlier today he called me by first name then said, "This is Ricky Hearn. It is important that we speak." He left his callback number of 469-713-3039. I did not call this joker back nor do I have any intention. If you want to get my attention then use voice mail the proper way and tell me specifically why you called me if you want me to call you back.
