I'm glad I didn't answer their calls. I never order anything online in these past few days. It's a mistake if they call me and asked me to pay something that I do not buy. I think we should be aware of these scammers. They will tell you everything to make you trust them. Beware, folks!

The person on the phone sounded like eastern Indian and tried telling me that my computer sent them some kind of critical update and he wanted to know if I was sitting in front of my computer.

This very rude fellow called about how my computer will shut down and demanded to help. Wouldn't take no for an answer so I simply stated "I am part of DO NOT CALL registry and hung up. I know someone who fell for this and it locked up all his data and the screen simply says you must pay this in order to get your files. In my book, hijacking, kidnapping and ransom is against the law. These idiots need to be stopped. I wish I had a little button on my phone that I could push and immediately hard boot his phone/system to factory setup, and wipe out all his stuff! Let's play Battleship, dude. You were rude and a @hole!

Called said his name was Greg, but sounded to be from India, and he was calling from tech support. He claimed that they received an error with the operating system. Since I know the status of my computer I played along being very sarcastic! Especially since he ordered me not to ask questions because "I don't know all the technical language" -- but he's from tech support... Couldn't help but laugh and that's when he started using the word "f**k" and then tried telling me, "I know you thinking I'm a telemarketer or scammer..." blah blah blah... I replied with, "Oh really?! You're a mind reader now huh? Oh, wait I'm not supposed to ask questions!" folloed by laughing. Apparently that made him mad and he started cursing and hung up. Awe poor scamming baby can't handle a jab... Lmao And if you call the number back it's through Verizon and they say it's a disconnected number. Gee! Using ghost phones game on!

Been calling for days now and at all hours. Finally answered phone and told heavily accented telemarketer to stop the harassment and that I would report this number to the FCC. Do not call registry list. He told me he didn't care. So then I just kept repeating "Stop harassing me" over and over until he hung up. I hate these calls and I hate the way I have to deal with this and now I don't like the way I feel. FCC needs to investigate. HELP!!!!

Said he was from MS tech support. Said he received an error message from my system. I asked him who he was calling for, of course he couldn't give me a name. I asked him what operating system he was calling about...and he hung up. He did have a strong East Indian accent.

Same as all of those above. Indian accent, called himself "Oliver" and my computer was sending central support critical updates. I couldn't help but laugh really hard, which made him mad. I played with him for as long as possible as he tried to get me to connect to a website to enter my credit card info and download something or other (I didn't go to the site). Told him I enjoyed the entertainment and keeping him from scamming other people. I'm IT. You're computer doesn't do anything he was claiming. Also, if you have a smartphone and it won't come up with at least a state that the call is coming from, it's a fake number. A quick search confirmed this, 465 is not a real area code.
