is this a valid survey company? i received a call from this number and that they're running a survey. if i agree, she'd pay me $5 for my time. i thought it's okay so i complied and answered every question she asked including a few personal information like the last four of my SSN. that's not gonna do me any harm, right? and the $5 she promised topay me, it's not yet showing on my CC... where did it go?
@ Winnie, how did you answer the survey? over the phone? because i got a call like that, too. she promised me $5 just by answering a few questions and then i get to join a draw by taking their electronic survey. which is what i did. it was just a little survey about work ethics. i remember putting my personal information, too. she assured me it's for record purposes only and that it's not disclosed to anyone else. the information would appear as asterisks on her end. Now, i'm not sure anymore.
great! that makes the three of us.. what do i do now???????
I get a call every day from this number on my cell. I want it to stop immediately. It's annoying. Sometimes it is twice a day. I don't give my cell number out to anyone but friends and family. Are they using a random number generator?
almost every other day...on my cell...stop it!!! i dont do surveys!!!
I did not answer but know I DO NOT want to receive these calls.
I have never answered the call, but I get calls from this number a few times a week and they never leave a message.
Just got the call and hope to not have the problems that others have complained about!
I refused to answer the call - don't know anyone from that exchange and will not answer any future calls from any unknown number. They called me in the evening. This is the first call received from this number - hopefully, this will be the last. It is certainly an invasion of privacy and something has to be done to prevent these "scammers" from accessing our cellphones, under any pretense (they apparently get under the wire because they are not "selling" anything - still not right.
I can't believe you idiots give out your personal info
Didn't even answer but they keep calling, not leaving a message. When I did answer and stayed silent, no one was on the line, obviously a robo-dialer. I blocked them. BTW they were calling my cellphone which is probably against the law, since I am on the do-not-call list, so they are probably criminals.
This place calls every day, and doesn't leave a message. I don't answer the calls because I find that my home phone is impossible to answer at work.
You should never provide your personal information to anyone. The last four digits of your ss #, name and cc # is more than enough to become A victim of identity theft. You should file a fraud alert with the credit reporting agencies.
calls in evening and does not leave message, this is the 4th time
Tired of this phone number calling us.
I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.
These people have called me FOUR TIMES in the last four days at random times throughout the day. I have never answered but based on what I see here it must be a survey company. I am tempted to answer and demand they remove my number from their database!
They called me and left no message. Tonight was the first time. I have absolutely no idea where they got my number but i wish they would stop calling ASAP! I'm not into surveys...
Not sure if it is a survey company becauseI didn't answer the phone, but they called this morning TWICE on my office phone-at 10:55 am and at 5:39 pm - this past SATURDAY (duh, I am not at work on a Saturday). Left no Voice Message. Thank you all for passing on your experiences with this number.
FYI, I got this sentence off a website re: last 4 digits of SS#: Here is the quote:::" would not give this out. Often places that you already have accounts with will ask for the last four digits of your SSN to confirm your identity when you call them. If this is a scammer they would now have one more piece of information that could help them pretend to be you."
Rec'd a call this evening on cell phone from 435-750-4933 (Logan, UT) 10/02/2012; missed the call and no message was left. I agreed that no one should give any personal information over the phone to a complete stranger; especially when you did not initiate the call. IDENITIY THEFT IS ON THE RAISE BE CAUTION WHEN ANSWERING CALLS THAT YOU DID NOT INITATE.
I just recently went to a collision repair shop so, that is the only reason I could think of for this call. However, I haven't answered when they call me at 8pm (EST), nor did they leave a voicemail. It's weird either way.
