receiving calls/messages from Mill Valley, Nicasio and other Calif. towns per the phone location identification. Callers' English is very hard to understand but can make out they claim to be from IRS. IRS says it is not their procedure for contact and o report to 800-366-4484 : Treasury Inspector General of Tax Administration

Barely fluent in English, and left a message for my wife threatening her with tax evasion and hinted that they were going to swoop in and haul her off to debtors prison.

They call from an unknown number. Per personal experience, they demand you pay them what appears to be some false IRS bill immediately. They threaten that you'll be picked up the next day and jailed for 6 months if you don't comply. Spoke with a Rep named Eric who sounds foreign. When asked for a supervisor, he hung up. Extremely suspect in my opinion.

This scam has been going on for at least a month using the same phone number. Why is it that this website can pinpoint the location where these phone calls originated and the authorities can't do anything about it, not even block this phone number?

Left on my voice mail, heavy Asian accent. Claimed to be from the Tax Litigation Dept. My CPA tells me the IRS only contacts you thru snail mail and they can't arrest you, nor would they at first anyway, until they take you to court. I know it is a scam as I got a call from upstate New York area claiming the same thing during the government shutdown in early October.

A very ovious scammer, I kept them on the line for about 45 minutes making them believe I was going to pay. Then said things to them I would smack my kids for saying if I heard them say those things Enjoyed my time with them very much and then called back from my work and then my cell number pulling the same thing Wish I had one of those high pitched canned sirens so I could blow their eardrums out

Needed my criminal lawyer contact details as they are taking criminal action against me. The caller identified himself as Prey Bell with an id number 90-0128816.
