this call has come in a number of times. it is spam. They have set their callerid to read a different number. When they call I pick up and then immediately hang up; this morning that resulted in a call from a cell phone (complaint already filed) and the number was different again. I've gotten calls from them before and asked them to stop calling. These numbers are new for them. I've read on the internet that someone thinks it's a scam and I agree.
Called about a credit card. I don't have a card. I work nights woke me up NO REASON TO CALL ME
just a fool
A call from this number came into my cell phone this morning. There was no caller ID & no voice mail, just the phone number. Luckily, it didn't wake me up because I use a "Do Not Disturb" feature to silence the ringer during my sleep hours. But I still resent such calls because AT&T bills me for them.
This seems like a scam caller. They ask for your credit card info and offer a 6/9% interest on all your credit cards if you pay them money. Do not trust these people. They some how find out your credit info and try to trick you into using them. BEWARE!
I received a phone call this morning stating they wanted to lower my interest rate. They did not identify themselves. I believe it is some kind of scam. They asked me to press 2 if I did not want to be called again.
I don't get it. They called me and when I called back it showed up as busy. Just passed it as spam.
This is a "Vishing" fraud call. After you press 1 some foreign person in a call center asks you to give them the last 12 digits of your credit card and the expiration #. NO ONE DOES THIS WHO IS LEGITIMATE>BEWARE
Call was unanswered, caller left no message on my voicemail - probably a phishing/scam/sales call. I don\'t know anyone in the area where the call originated.
how do I sue these people, I'm on the do not call list
Called me multiple times, I never answer, Googled the number. Thanks for sharing about these thieves--feel sad some resort to illegal activities.
Didn't answer - left no message.
Claimed to be from Department of Homeland Security. BEWARE of this scammerl Same guy called two weeks ago claiming to be an IRS agent!. see: http://www.irs.gov/uac/Newsroom/IRS-Releases-the-%E2%80%9CDirty-Dozen%E2%80%9D-Tax-Scams-for-2014;-Identity-Theft,-Phone-Scams-Lead-List
Robo caller - conversation started with "Calling about your credit card.-- lower your interest rate --. A SPAM First one like this I have received on my cell phone which very few people have the number....
On My ID caller apers Like MD ST GOVT They called this morning around 9:27 AM But Iam concerned about scam calls Because i got an other call From 562 5135144 and they said is a coleccións company and they called From Florida But the área Call is From California
Got a phone call (12:03pm) from an out-of-state number that I didn't "know" or recognize. (Does this mean that they are involved in Interstate Fraud?) They, of course, left no message. As always, I didn't answer, but looked up the number here. I am on the National Do-Not-Call List, and have been for over a couple of years now. (I guess this is our government at work for us.) I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx and see if that can get the government to work for me, and stop these calls. (Yes I will go through all those steps.) [I have also bookmarked these URL's.] I have also assigned a silent ringtone to this number. (I am up to 69 now.) We should all pile on.
I always block these type on numbers on my Verizon account. However, a new number always occurs. It is harrassment!!! The Do NOT Call list is BS.
The caller asked for me by name then obviously reading from a script intended to sound authentic proceeded to soilicit money for the democratic party. First asking for $100 donation and then asking for whatever I wanted to donate. Strangely, I received a phone message earlier in the week telling me to contact a number immediately to lower my credit card interest rate. Same person I suspect.
I didn't recognize the # so I did not answer it. I googled the # and found this site. I don't have a credit card. Thanks for the tip. When I googled it, it is a landline # in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Been on the DO NOT CALL list for years.
Caller ID stated MD ST GOVT- I didn't answer, nor did they leave a message> I've blocked this number now.
They keep calling me and ask for my security code off my credit card. I tell them to stop calling and the women yells at me...why don't you want to reduce your interest rate. Thank goodness Verizon lets me block callers....bye bye 410!
This person claimed to represent the company "Credit Card Services." I googled it, saw nothing relating to that company other than a link that said "Beware 'Credit Card Services' Scam". Naturally, I was skeptical. Person was phishing for personal information under the pretenses of being able to lower the credit card interest. They were asking for the expiration date, the last four digits, amongst other info. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and the person they put on had me even more sketched out than the first person who called. Fast talking and not answering any of my questions at all.
Please do not get tripped up by these thieves!!! They so want to help you lower your interest rate! They ask you if you have a Visa or MC, and to confirm the CC number and expiration date. No legitimate concern would ever ask you for this info, so don't get fooled by this crook with the Middle Eastern accent. I will lodge a complaint against this number.
