Call received from this number about 8:30 a.m. this morning. A Foreign sounding Man on other end said "Hello, my name is __?__ and I am calling from Windows Technical Support." That's when I hung up knowing it was a SCAM. Seconds later he calls back asking "why did you hang up on me?" I told him he was a scammer and he then said, "But why did you hang up on me you b***h!" While I have received many of these calls, that's the first time they have ever called back to name call!!!!!

Hard to understand woman called my 82 yr old mom and said there was a problem with their computer. My mom said no their isn't and hung up. The woman called back and told my mom she would mess up her computer. Then the call got verbally abusive and my mom hung up again.

A heavily-accented South Asian voice started by saying "Hello, do you have a computer?" at 8:30 AM on Saturday. When asked who was calling, he replied "Alan", then "Alan Smith". He began with the Windows Technical Support scam, he refused to listen and I hung-up, threatening to report him to the federal government.

This call alleges to be Microsoft Windows support. I blocked this number some time ago and the calls stopped during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays but has resumed after new years. My phone system blocks the calls after the first ring. The caller usually calls on weekends before 8 am.

Foreign sounding male voice (Indian or Pakistani) called around 0930 local. Said he was calling from something like Windows Tech Support or such. I did not let him picth me, rather I told him I did not have a computer in the home. This seemed to put him off. I hung up and blocked him. I've had similar calls in the not so resent past. I wish there was a better way to combat this fraud/scam. I'm concerned for our more vulnerable populations.
