Said he was with a Casualty Co. responding to a recent resume I placed online. When I inquired about the position, he indicated he had an appointment for me although my qualifications and degree concentration, did not match. When I pursued a detailed position description again, he abruptly hung up the phone. Thank God.

At first I thought it was a prank call because the man sounded as if he were forcing a voice to sound like a woman. He spoke about a recent application I put online and told me his manager wanted to know if I am still interested in the job, but when he told me the company name I didn't recall me applying for that specific job so I told him that I wasn't interested and we hung up.

He was responding to my recent application posted on Careerbuilder.com for a job at Bankers Life Insurance Company. I haven't applied to this position. When I asked pertinent questions, he stated he didn't have any answers or provide incorrect information. I said I wasn't interested. But he left his phone number and said he was in Casselberry, Fl

Received a call from what I could best tell was a gentleman named Randy Rhodes, Could not come close to understanding the company he represented- sounded like an Indian type of accent. Said he was responding to a resume I had posted online, looking for a new position. Called back, out of curiosity, and got a cell phone voice mail message. After reading the other posts - I will not walk, but run away from this guy.

I got the same call today. I keep a record of all the jobs i apply for and none of them came up under this company. They are called Bankers Life Insurance and the address given was 1211 Sr 436 Suit 149, Casselberry Fl 32707. Luckily i researched this before going to my interview. Just beware.

Said he was a recruiter for Bankers Life, and asked if I was still looking for a position. When I pushed for more information, he mentioned they were looking for sales persons..... when I mentioned that it was unrelated to my career field, he kept getting pushier about speaking with his manager to listen to some spiel. I tried being polite and cut him off, but finally had to hang up.
