This is a "cancer charity" based out of Las Vegas, so they are maybe using a spoofed Caller ID.
They are pretty sneaky about it as well.
As the pitch progressed I became suspicious that it was an automated call, so when I asked if it was, "she" replied back that she was in fact a live person. "She" then tried to compensate for the small pause between me asking a question and "her" answering by saying the call was being recorded for quality control. I kept at it and mumbled a few questions, got another canned response that "she" already said and when I asked if it was a real live person, the call was terminated. When I try to call back, the number is busy.
If they call back again, I'll report the number to AT&T.
