A man with an middle eastern accent attempted to scam my 93 yr old mother. He was extremely rude when I took control of the call requesting to remove my number from their data base and to never call again. I placed his number on the do not call list. Not that will do much since they use a dialer of multiple numbers. I've also placed that number on block. Last friday, they called 7 times. Isnt this harrassement? Though, I hangup when I realize it's a dialer calling in. But my Mom doesnt know or get it. Wished there was a way to protect her when I'm not around. You would think as advanced technology we could.

Got just a call from an Indian guy claiming to be "Window Technical Support" (scammer). Hint: Microsoft will not call you. I say, "You are from windows? That is great! I have a window in the kitchen that is sticky and it won't open easily ..." "Don't try to be smart. Cause you aren't smart at all." I reply, "I am smart enough to know that you are a scammer." Click. Dang. I was hoping to waste more of his time.

Btw, same guy called last week (anonymous caller ID) I told him I was amazed how did he know I was having computer troubles!? Told him I was 19 and he went straight to do I have a boyfriend? Then I kept asking for his phone number...he would not give me one and finally asked why do you want my phone number so badly. Told him I was going to give it to the police because I'm not 19, I don't want a date and he's a scam artist and just got scammed by me. He hung up. All reputable call centers record phone calls...won't be asking you for a date!!

Man named John called saying he was from Microsoft Windows tech support and I was being hacked. He offered lifetime support for $200. I declined and he told me he was going to shut down my laptop and take all of my money out of my accts. I hung up and he called back about 10 times in 10 minutes still trying to get me to register.

Man with East Indian accent calls, claims to be with Microsoft, says they have received signals that my computer sent out, showing that it's having problems. Asked me to read him all the icons on my desktop. Oddly, got transferred back and forth between two people. Asked him to give me a license number to prove he has access into my computer. Started to read me a "license number" beginning with "8" and I finally got mad and said, "prove to me that you're not a scam!" He immediately hung up.

Scammer with Indian (East India) accent tried to convince me that my computer was sending signals indicating that my network was corrupted, and that they needed to install software to fix it. I told them not to call back, which they did. I hung up on them again, and reported them to the FTC. I hope they pass this on to the FBI or whoever can stop these guys!

This person called me at 7;50 am (2-days in a row) I answered the 2nd day. He had an Indian accent said he was Microsoft tech support and was calling about my computer. I replied "that's funny because I run a Mac" His response was, "Ohhh oh you do? I must have the wrong number then". I let him know that this indeed was a wrong # and that his "name" and number were all over the internet as a scammer and hung up on him.

A call from this number came in at about 8 am asking me to confirm that I had some issues regarding my windows computer. (I don't have a windows computer). However, knowing this was a scam, I decided to play out and go along for a few mins... when he asked me to turn on the computer and tel him what I saw, I said a it was all black... and he replied: "Like your v****a?" Isn't there an authority this dispicable behavior can be reported to to stop?
