another caller from india claiming i have a deadly virus on my computer. I don't know if people still fall for it but it's not a problem with anyone's computer. It's a problem of parents not raising their children properly, because these kids grow up to be phone scammers in India. They call and pretend that your PC is broken, then they will insist that a certain verification needs to be performed in order to clean the computer. They will not be doing any cleaning, they will infect your computer and ask you to pay money to have it fixed.

Called twice today & wouldn't say anything; just held on & I could hear them breathing.

Have received calls repeatedly from "Microsoft' regarding an "error message" on my computer. Yeah, right. They have nothing better to do than call potential customers --- what a scam. Probably have received over 20 calls, sometimes as many as 5 times in one day.

Called me twice....my little sister picked up while i wasnt home and threatened her that my computer is going to blow up??? ***** *** ******* u got that much balls to do that then maybe find out my cell phone number and call me and see who blows up ignorant lil kids....I HAVE A LAWYER AND WILL OPEN A MAJOR LAW SUITE FOR HRASSING AND THREATENING

calll to say they are offering arefund but have not bought anything.tol them i would contact poice next call. talk with aisian accent. is a scam and should be reported. they are reffering to themselves as agents for microsoft.

I have been receiving numerous calls from this number. Several times I have hung up after saying \"Hello\" and no one responds. This last time I got an Indian speaking person and he represented himself as working for \"Windows\". I asked him why my caller ID listed the number as \"Unassigned\" instead of Microsoft or Windows and his excuse was \"he was calling from a switchboard since he was not in the US. I told him that was BS because I work with several Indian companies and their phone systems have registered names. Next, he went on with the spiel that my computer was sending error messages and that he was responding to those. He would need to log into my computer to research and correct these errors. I asked how he had my contact information and he proceeded to tell me that it was part of my registration information for my Operating System... so I first asked him which version of Windows OS am I using and he couldn\'t tell me. Next I pointed out that my computer is registered by my company (an international IT contracting company) and my information could not be associated with it. If there were problems my corporate IS department would be getting calls not me... as soon as I stated that I was going to call my company and report his fraudulent call... well he hung up. If I had allowed him to log into my work computer, not only coud he have planted viruses but he would also have had access to sensitive data. I would have lost my job.

Those Indian guys and their computer scams. I like messing around with them provided I'm not in the middle of working. They usually hang up on *me*.

This is a phone scam trying to hack into your computer. The read from a script. They called a couple of times...didn't answer at first...then answered, when they went into the 'script', I told them I didn't have a computer and they hung up.

I receive this call often, they do'nt talk, what is the matter with them, i would like to know who they are.
