Responded to the number to speak to a representative. Infoormed this prson that I wished they would comply with the Do Not Call List and was hung up on. Very professional. What good is the DNC list if it does not have any teeth. Appeas that more and more business are just ignoring the law. IT HAS NO TEETH. I hope the code does nt include me on aother call list.

woman said there are a lot of break ins in the area and wanted to put a device on the house to allow police to come quickly when called.

How do you stop these interruptions ? Seeing an increase and am on the DNC list.

I usually don't answer but did this time thinking it was my daughter calling me right back. Said hello 3 times, no response.

I have registered, re-registered, and reported unwanted solicitation calls to DNC--apparently to NO AVAIL. Actually, these calls are increasing....and are very annoying at the dinner hour. It appears to me that solicitors are totally ignorring the mandates of the Federal DNC legislation. What recourse have we?

Using scare tactics, mentioning FBI and the number of home breakins to try to sell some sort of alarm. How do you tell a recording that you are on DNC list? So irritating!

The caller I.D. said Washington, Tacoma and then the 253-382-9923 they did not leave a message as I did not answer it. I am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. The law is no good unless it is STRICTLOY enforced.

They called eariler today, i wasen't home so they never left a message. My name is also on the DO NOT CALL LIST,, i think they are the ones gathering numbers for the telemarketer's ..lol it's a waste of time even reporting them.

Do not call lists aside, in the end, only you can control the Telemarketers. The first and best defense against unwanted callers is Caller ID. In addition. I have a Panasonic phone that signals with a flashing light when there is an incoming call. That way I can keep the ringer turned off - no more interruptions. If we stop answering unwanted calls, there will be no reason for them to place the call !!!
