Tell 'em you've graduated from high school in the late 60's and they'll hang up! Some sort of "continuing education" or "job advisor" exploit. Just told 'em not to call me again, but of course they will.
We don't know if anyone hears us telling them to stop calling.
Have not been around to receive the call.
When I called discover myself they said they had not been trying to contact me and to not give out any information to these callers.
Stated they were IRS calling about magistrate action. Don't fall for it. The U.S. IRS will send you letters in the mail on official stationary if/when there is a problem. They will definitely write you long before it gets into legal action. My in-laws had a friend in their retirement community who was scammed for thousands of dollars before her family got involved and put a stop to the scam artists.
Getting call every night from this number, very annoying
They hung up on me.
Called but did not leave message.
Ever seen the show Catfish? I smell a catfish.. Pay attention to details
this call starts with a recording then goes to a live person. i've tried on at least 5 occasions to ask them to stop calling, but as soon as i begin to tell them not to call me, they hang up.
Answered call and there was just silence. Another scam artist out there?
This phone number called several times today. I called back and all I got was a recorded message to press 1 to stop receiving phone calls. There were never any other options, nor was a company name given.
I received a similar suspicious call and the scammer seemed to read from a written script.
This number called me today, Thursday, Sep 12, 2013, at 2:16 pm. Since I don't know this number or area, I didn't answer. They did not leave a message on my voicemail, so this call could not have been very important. Must be a telemarketer or a scam. Either way, if they don't leave a message, I definitely don't want to speak with them !!
Unwanted recording call!
This was unnerving. The man called asking for my daughter. Upon researching on the phone number, I discovered that it was a scam & wanted to report them.
Called my cell phone, rang once.
They call everyday. I have tried to answer but nothing on the line. I have called the number and get a busy signal. Thank you for your assistance.
This number has called 3 times today. This is obviously a scam. Please deal with it accordingly.
This is the second complaint that I have filed and these people are still calling me. I want to know what you're going to do about it!
The caller tells the the customer that they have been awarded a government grant and then proceeds to ask for your bank informatio or credit card information to deposit the funds after you pay them $130.00
Stop calling me
they appear to be marketers...BUT they state that they are not selling anything.. they quickly hang up when I inquired about the company name.
We have received several call from verious collection companies looking for the same person. Can you do something about this or are you one of the goverment agancies we should cut to help the budget?
Mr. Mark Brown called me yesterday morning. I sent the first call to voicemail and they immediately called me back, so I answered. He said "Hello Miss C, I am a federal crime investigator and I believe you have lied." I said, "I think you have the wrong number." He said, " NO I DON'T I HEARD YOUR VOICEMAIL, I KNOW IT IS YOU." I hung up. I researched the number and saw that it was scammers. I called the Federal Trade Commission and reported it to them. They said if it is federal they aren't going to call and give you a heads up, they will be at your doorstep to arrest you. TRUE! I called the local sheriff and reported it. The deputy tried calling this number and a lady answered. The deputy told her who he was and asked what company she worked for, she said The Federal Crime Investigation. He asked her, her name and she said she don't know because she has short term memory loss. So he asked her if my name was in their system and she said NO! They are a bunch of scammers! DON'T fall for their tricks. They want money. They need to be caught! DON'T LET THEM SCARE YOU!
