This is a total idiot scammer pretending that your computer is sending out some message and he's going to help protect against cyber criminals. He won't. Just spews a bunch of lies and tries to steal your money.

the person making these calls (I recognized the voice from past calls I've received) has found a way to hack peoples phone numbers so that when he calls a different number shows up on the receivers caller ID.

I live in central Florida. I got a call from this number still using the LNP MEGAPOPNET name. I didn't answer but I have sent the number and name out to a network of scam baiters I am friends with. They are going to make sure that these scammers have a terrible week, I assure you! If anyone would like to see what these scam baiters do, go to the YouTube channel named The Hoax Hotel. It's worth watching to see these scammers get scammed.

Just received a call from these scammers. I acted stoopid. They wanted me to press the windows and R key. I still acted dumb and when she asked what the screen said. I told her it said "you are an a$$hole and should be ashamed that you are trying to scam people. She started cursing at me and I kept repeating KARMA Seaword... until she hung up.

Scam. They say they are from BTsupport calling about your computer. Called twice (yesterday and today). What they really want is to install a virus on your computer, the script hasn't changed over the years...

this guy tried telling me my computer was sending his company SOS messages because somebody had tried to hack me and it was making a cry for help. After I hung up on him he called back and became quite vulgar calling me (excuse my language) a b***h and a mother f****r and talking about how I was going to suck his big long c**k. I guess he is having a bad day with the hangups

Received a call, that they had determines my computer had a virus. I told him that I knew it was a scam and don't call me, I will call my own computer company if I have an issue. He attempted to try to ensure me that this was not a scam and could understand why I feel that way. Told him this is a scam and don't call me again. Told him also he will burn in hell for trying to take advantage of people.

A guy named Gary (?) called me 3 times today always with the same msg, my computer was sending SOS msgs because someone was trying to hack into my system. I told him not to call me again and that i felt like i was being stalked. I said i know this is a scam and he said "oh no i am just trying to help you save your computer) and i told him if my computer crashes it will be my fault and i will deal with it. The first time i hung up immediately, 2nd time told him you already called me once today and i am not interested, last time he said i am only trying to help you and i said i don't want or need your help do not call me again. The caller ID was LNP MEGAPOPNET, same id each time.

I am totally familiar with this scam as I am an IT Manager. They actually called our company. They spoof a number which shows Birmingham MI. After their nonsense intro, I asked them for the name of the company, then their address. Told me Bloomington Hills MI. I asked him the street address, and he said, "why do you want to visit." I told him absolutely. He continued. I asked for the street address again. He again he asked why, do you want to visit. I told him indeed, along with the FBI. I then asked since he had such a thick Chinese accent, what city in China is he calling from. Don't let these people make you angry. Throw it right back at them.

The caller had a thick Indian accent (I can't distinguish between dialects) and could hardly be understood plus there was an enormous amount of noise in the background,. I picked up the words -- computer, virus, dangerous and not a sales call. I tried to be polite and told him I could not understand him and, furthermore, I have had no problems with my computer. He began to talk louder and even more unintelligibly and I told him I was hanging up. These people have no shame!
