Its a scam about remote home security surveillance. Pressing "9" to put your number on the do not call list only disconnects you. Don't answer when this number calls.

Calling our WORK numbers that go directly to each of our desks. They want to put a sign in your front yard for a security system. Called back to opt out (option 2) and it hung up on me twice. I also tried to talk to someone and it hung up on me again. They should not have gotten our WORK phone numbers.

I called the recording back and all of the options DO NOT WORK! SCAM!!!! Please file a complaint report to www.donotcall.gov if you have registered your number . I received $300 last year from a company like this that kept calling me and we were registered with the government do not call list! It made me become more proactive against these places! Enough complaints will start an investigation and we will win!

Same happened to me, (I'm in WV) when I called it back I got the "higher crime rate in your area" message.. I told them I live surrounded by 66 acres of farmland, have Dobermans and German shepherds and have about 10 different firearms and a dang good shot, so yeah, me and my kiddos are safe the way it is. :)

Eitan KImelman owns Dollar Phones out of Dallas, Texas and Level 3 Communications which is where this prank number is . Eitan and his 2 stupid brothers, Abraham and Yaron, need to be placed in jail because they are in violation of the law. I plan to report them.

I received a call from them saying "The FBI reports crime in your neighborhood is higher than the countries average. If you allow us to stick a sign in your front yard we'll install a new remote security system." I declined to speak to anyone and hung up. I called them back and went through the intro message it said " Hello thanks for the callback we're getting in touch with people living areas with a higher than average crime rate. We offer a remote security system that allows you to watch your place from anywhere in the world for more info press 1 now. to be removed from the list press 2 now." Upon pressing 1 I received the following message " Is your credit score higher than 600? if so press 1 now if not please press 2. Upon pressing one they ask if you have time to speak to an agent" By pressing 2 they disconnect the phone call. Pressing 1 and it rings once and the call is disconnected. Obviously a scam if they're asking for your credit score. I hope this helps people out.

The call came from this phone number: 240-249-2046. The voice message they left said "To protect your home If you would allow us to place a small sign in your yard we will install a new security system at absolutely no cost to you whatsoever no cost for the system or the installation whatsoever to hear more press 1 now to be placed on our do not call list press 9". They don't even have a name for their company - who would ever let these scammers into their home? If it's free be suspicious people! Bunch of scammers/fraudsters!
