We get this call several times daily. This has been occurring for almost a month. It seems that knowing the phone no. and location plus the number of complaints you should be able to track this person down and pull the plug. I appreciate your efforts. If you will Google this number you will see all the other complaints about this one number.
Spammer says they'll reduce credit card interest rate, refuses to remove from call list.

Initially you get a recording aking you to press 1 to talk to a rep about lowering your credit card interest rate. I think these peopple are criminals stay away

"Ann" from "Account Services" wanting to lower my interest rate. It is a SCAM! Told the guy on the phone (after pressing 1) that I knew this was a scam. (They ask for your credit card number after numerous questions). They guy called me every name in the book for 3 minutes and 38 seconds. Finally I screamed as loud as I could into the phone. He hung up. LOL
What To Do When You Get an Illegal Robocall http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/microsites/robocalls Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back. Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov EVERYONE should be reporting them. It is important to keep up the pressure even though nothing seems to be getting done, or else the government will just sit back and claim they are doing a good job since there are fewer complaints. These criminals need to be charged with a CRIMINAL offense and thrown in prison (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).
They call and leave no message. This may be part of the "Card Services" scam. When I have time, I like to see how long I can keep them on the phone. Their business model relies on gullible people pressing "1" so their staff only get "qualified leads" meaning people who can be scammed. Every minute they lose talking to someone who won't use their services cuts their margins and protects some potential victim.
I get several calls in a day. When I finally got a live person and asked how they got my number the hung up the phone immediately. They want you to provide your credit card number information, beware!
It is a waste of time to notify the FTC. They won't do anything at all. They get paid fat salaries, but take no action to protect consumers from telephone scams and annoying robocalls. Go ahead, call and ask them what they are doing about these scams. They have nothing to offer.
I don't answer calls from area codes I am not familiar with. Most likely trying to rip me off.

I hope this helps you guys. the companies that are already listed with the FTC that they shut down... those are not our companies my friends, they are already caught. I have made over 25,000 turning in companies like this but you cant go after the ones they ALREADY KNOW ABOUT. here is what you do please make sure you do this right away as soon as you get a call from anyone wanting to sell you a debt relief interest reduction service: 1. go along with them. > go through all the way to the end > until you get to a verification step (this is where you get all their real information) this will tell you the name of the real company that is charging you and they will also give you a real phone number because they are scared you will charge back your sale. > if you cant get to this part because you have given all false information go in and tell them (there is to much security on my account they wont give any info over the phone, BUT im looking at my statement and it shows $10,541.01 balance and av: $4,458.91 say it shows my rate is 19.99% and thats all they will need to pass you through to someone to give you the pitch on how much it will cost, agree to all that (remember if you are giving fake info your goal here is to get their real company name and number and turn them in) if you gave real info (let them charge you (trust me) then call your credit card company as SOON as you get off the phone and dispute that transaction right away and change your card info.. that easy) you will get your money back from the card company, and on top of that (you will have a real valid charge from a company with real company info that way when you call the FTC and all other companies you have valid information that they can find and tack) bottom line here is that they are breaking the DNC and FTC rules by calling us with a robot and not a person and on top of that our numbers are on DNC lists and they always violate that, what upsets me is that people are still wasting time on the old companies they are already berried lets find the other jerks out there to pin down and save us all....
