Same here. Did not pick up. but since a couple were made on this day looking from the comments, it does seem like a scam call.

Finally caught the phone in time to answer. Recording about American Express Rewards. It's a scam. American Express doesn't have recorded messages.

Claimed to be American Express Rewards Card. Requested they put me on their do not call list several times. They continue to call using different numbers. I tie up their number and did not hang up. They eventually did.

When I asked the live person if the complimentary offered trip provided in the introductory recorded message is free (the definition of complimentary means free), the live skammer said that the offer involved a reduced price. When i told him that the introductory recording is not merely misleading, but constitutes false and fraudulent advertising because complimentary means free, the live skammer hung up on me. Don't say yes, give your name or give any information because they will likely record that and misuse it. It is a pfishing operation . It is clearly a skam since I don't have an American Express credit card.
