Some kind of a telemarketing call center. They were offering vacation packages, but I'm on the DNC and don't need nothing from no strangers. I asked them to stop calling. We'll see what happens next
got a different type of call compared to the comment above. It's builder's square company which offers alarm system (which I'm definitely not interested in one bit). I think the number that called is spoofed derrick.
I'm a bit confused. I got a call from an automated survey which said that I needed to answer 10 question in order to get a chance to win some kind of a dream vacation cruise. I know this stuff's designed for suckers so I just hung up the phone. I have no time for this..
i heard some kind of a fog horn from a ship in the ocean and an excited voice kicked in with details about why I'm so lucky blah.. blah.. I just hung up
call from a survey offering tickets to the bahamas...keep getting called over and over :(
Pressed 1 for everything in the survey to get to operator. I asked to be put on DNC list and was put on hold for DNC department. Then call disconnected. Got calls before but hanging up just resulted in repeat calls later. Let's see if DNC request actually went through. First request Nov 16 2011 at 2:33pm.
How to block 210-301-0307?
Starts with "This is your captain speaking" then offers a free cruise but you have to take a automated survey first which is designed to scam private info from you like your bank numbers . This 210-301-0307 Number is calling up in the Vancouver Canada 604 area to thousands of numbers twice a day each, with no options to opt out. Very annoying. They need to be stopped preferably traced downed and made examples of. (a public flaying would be a good start, then finish them off with in a slow burning coat of Sterno paste). Can't believe the authorities and phone companies are not moving faster on shutting this down.
Upon answering call (I did because I have family in San Antonio and recognize the Area Code), an automated message informed me " this is the second and final call regarding my credit card billing..." turns out it is a lure to consolidate credit cards to something of that nature. I followed the prompts and got connected to a live person,Trina, I asked to be removed from their calling list and was promptly hung up on without confirmation of removal.
This number is calling my home AND my cell phone in CANADA every other day for months now. Even in the middle of the night. I HATE them. Can't anybody make this harassment stop? If it was a Canadian company, I would have reported them to the police for harassment, plus theft of air time and roaming charges for my cell phone!
I get a call every two weeks, even after I stayed on the line long enough to tell a person I no longer wished to receive any further calls. I still get them. I don't want to get anymore, and I wish to be removed from their call list. How can I accomplish this?
trying to sell **** to me I live in Canada and they phone me here SMART OR WHAT
said they were offering 6% interest on a credit card. hung up when i asked what company? I am on a do not call list
Death threat was left on answering machine. Time of message matches time of call of this number. I'm pretty sure that is not legal.
They didn't leave a message as another family member was on the other line when this call came in. I wouldn't have picked up anyway as Builder's Square has been out of business for several years. I am also on the "do not call" list. Guess I may have to file a complaint with the FTC if they persist.
Received a call from this number asking for the names of medications we take. I just hung up.
Guy on phone stated I was causing problems with their server and wanted me to enable sharing through remote access....Not gonna happen...He hung up after I questioned who he was actually with (said he was with Microsoft working on Windows errors)...What a crock...Had Indian accent...
Said they were a Microsoft Windows rep and we're calling my computer.
Said they got a report of errors on my computer and that there might be spyware installed on my windows program. I asked him who he worked for and he said he was a service rep for Windows. I told him I had a Mac and he hung up on me. Very thick accent
