Received call twice: "This is Criminal Investigation Department of ISRT calling. The matter at hand is extremely time sensitive and urgent as after all that we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax, which you are hiding from the federal government this needs to be rectified mediate. Lee so do return the call as soon as you receive the message the number is 202-335-4242. I repeat again 202-335-4242. Thank you." Suspect scam...

I received a message similar to the last poster's. I called the number back and grilled the foreigner and told him I thought it was a scam and was calling the real IRS and he threatened me to add me to a database. I said great and hung up. I called them several times and reached foreigners every time who would not give me their name but demanded mine. The last guy I spoke with asked me for my bra size and proceeded to say many dirty things to me.

"Officer James Miller" from IRS called and started to get short with me when I asked if he was a scam. He said who told you this was a scam...I said the news, people in general, everyone. I then asked him for his name--Officer James Miller and then for his badge ID #IRM223005 I then started to ask multiple questions he got upset and hung up.

The caller left a message that I had committed fraud and that they were the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit. I made several calls back and decided to scam the scammer. This call is very graphic but he gets what he deserves in the end. By the end of the call you will know why. Please do not fall for this scam.
