THese crooks continue to call. Each time the robocall originates from another number, but the message is the same, and leads to a an actual person on the line. Upon my beginning to inform them that I want the calls to desist - I am hung up on by the person - without their taking my information to remove me from their call list. These folks need to be shut down because they are flagrantly violating terms of the donotcall registry and because they are preying on people with a dishonest and possibly unlawful service offer.
I've been getting calls from this number - 5-6 this week - with no message. Extremely unsettling.
Calls 3-4 times a day, no message. This is getting very annoying.
These criminals operate the worst robocaller in the country. The core problem is that Verizon -- paid much more by tekemarketers than by homeowners -- refuses to offer its customers the readily available call-blocking technology. The solution is to dump the Verizon landline while exercising your legal right to transport your home number to another carrier. Home phones operating on cellular networks or on VoIP are highly reliable, cost a lot less than Verizon, and allow call blocking.
